I’ve recently relocated to Tucson from Naples, Florida with my husband and two teenage daughters. After an adventurous twenty years of moving as a military family, we are excited to call Tucson our permanent home. We have been enjoying getting to know our new surroundings as a family, hiking the beautiful mountain trails, watching the amazing sunsets and getting to know the community.
I am truly honored to be teaching here at Catalina Hills Preschool and Kindergarten.
Working with children has been a passion of mine from a young age. My first jobs included working as a therapeutic camp counselor for teens, a live-in nanny for a 3-year-old boy and caring for 2-year-olds in a daycare program. While raising my girls’ I had the opportunity to work and volunteer at their schools. I’ve worked with elementary-aged students with special needs, a preschool setting in the 2-year-old class and my daughter through homeschooling. I have over ten years of experience and loved every minute of it. I am very excited to nurture and guide your young children while they explore, grow and develop in so many wondrous ways at this stage of life.

Owl Program is an enrichment program offered Monday-Friday as an extension of the school day. Students will have fun and interesting thematic activities that are planned with different themes each day of the week. There is a daily snack (provided by the parents) and as a special treat, a G-rated short film each Friday afternoon. Lots of play time inside and outside on the play yard. We staff this program only for the number of children that have registered. Class meets from 1:00-4:00 reservation are requested and drop-ins will be available when enrollment numbers allow.

Early Birds is our before school care for families that would like to have their children come at 7:30 in the morning Monday-Friday. Early birds will be available by reservation Monday-Friday drop-in options will be available when enrollment numbers allow.

At Catalina Hills, Students will benefit from many enrichment opportunities to extend their learning. Each week the students will be given instruction in Art, Music, PE and Spanish.
