Joe Morrissey, Coyotes Teacher
I am originally from New Jersey, but have lived in Tucson for 7 years. I came to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona where I graduated from
the College of Education in May of 2020 with a degree in Literacy, Learning, and Leadership.
I then started working in early childhood education as an afternoon care teacher and worked my way up to Lead Pre-K Teacher over the course of 4 years.
During my off hours, I enjoy spending time with friends and doing plenty of outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, golfing, and cycling (find me
at Rock Solid or on The Loop!).
Owl Program is an enrichment program offered Monday-Friday as an extension of the school day. Students will have fun and interesting thematic activities that are planned with different themes each day of the week. There is a daily snack (provided by the parents) and as a special treat, a G-rated short film each Friday afternoon. Lots of play time inside and outside on the play yard. We staff this program only for the number of children that have registered. Class meets from 1:00-4:00 reservation are requested and drop-ins will be available when enrollment numbers allow.

Early Birds is our before school care for families that would like to have their children come at 7:30 in the morning Monday-Friday. Early birds will be available by reservation Monday-Friday drop-in options will be available when enrollment numbers allow.

At Catalina Hills, Students will benefit from many enrichment opportunities to extend their learning. Each week the students will be given instruction in Art, Music, PE and Spanish.
